In the series, “The Energy of Everything” I explore the atomic omnipresent similarity in all matter. I am intrigued by the idea that we are composed of essentially the same things, simply rearranged in different patterns and vibrating at different pitches. Reminiscent of protons, electrons and neutrons, the backgrounds in this series bubble with a simple allover pattern. The forms become childlike, as the idea is more abstract yet basic. A flat black and white line design superimposed over that soupy pattern, stimulates the shock sometimes experienced when one balances between the absolute and the effervescent.
